BIOTHERAPEUTIC DRAINAGE*
The concept of drainage, or detoxification, is as old as medicine itself. In ancient times drainage was applied in the form of herbal mixtures. Induced sweating in Turkish Baths is another form of cleansing (through the skin, which is a major excretory gland). Homeopathic remedies can induce drainage, prescribed according to the Law of Similars, by assisting the elimination of organic toxins through the natural channels. Different sources of organic intoxication of the organism may be classified as:

Exogenous Toxins - chemical and psychological influences acting on the tissues of the organism. for example - alcohol, tobacco, drugs, pollution, anxiety or shock.

Endogenous toxins
- from within the body itself - viruses and toxins associated with tuberculosis or syphilis, or other diseases which affect the healthy functions of the body.

Autogenous Toxins
- generated by the body itself in terms of hereditary, constitutional or tempermental factors.

Homeopathic drainage remedies assist function in the
direction of normal metabolism.

ORGANOTHERAPY**
Organotherapy is far more than just organ support. The first principle of Organotherapy is concerned with cellular specificity - glandural or tissular. That is "the organ acts upon the organ", or "the tissue acts upon the tissue".

Thus, to treat an organ, homeopathic potencies of this organ are given. for example, the heart may be treated with heart, and the kidneys with kidney. The potency chosen is personalized to achieve desired results, whether it be to stimulate, regulate or depress.
